Ghaznavidas Sultanate, Yamin al-daula Mahmud (AH 388-422; 998-1030 AD), Silver Bilingual Dirham, 2.70 grams, 19.31mm, Mahmudpur (Lahore) Mint, AH 418, both sides legend within circle, Obv: Arabic legend within Kufic style Shahada below abu ‘l qasim, above al-qadir and on left margin billah, in margin mint & date, Rev: Sarada script within Sanskrit language ‘avyaktameka Muhammada avatar nripati Mahamuda’ within circle and margin legend ‘avyaktiya name ayam tankam hato mahamudapura samvati’.
