Obv: diademed and nimbate king riding an elephant facing right, holding an elephant-goad; traces of Bactrian legend around Rev: lunar deity standing facing left, extending his right hand in a gesture of blessing; tamgha in the left field, Bactrian legend MAO to right. Obv: King standing wearing armour and a trident with banners attached to its staff, offering sacrifice at an altar; traces of Bactrian legend around. Rev: Shiva standing reclining against Nandi, holding a trident. Fine Scarce.

Kushan Empire, temp.Vasudeva II and Kanishka III (c. 250-300 AD), Gold Dinar, Goebl 634 (attributed to Kanishka II), 7.80 grams. Obv: king helmeted and cuirassed, standing holding a trident and offering sacrifice at an altar. Bactrian legend ShAONANO Sh?ShKO KOShANO around; Brahmi letters Gi between the two feet and Vasu in the field beyond the trident. Rev: Shiva, holding a trident, reclining against Nandi; Bactrian legend OEShO in right field, and Tamgha in the left. VF+, Scarce.

Obv: nimbate and crowned king standing, making offerings at a small altar, holding a standard, trident above altar; traces of Bactrian script around, Brahmi letter Bha between altar and feet, Ga under arm and Vasu in right field. Rev: Ardoksho seated facing on throne holding ribbons and cornucopia, tamgha to top left. VF+, Scarce.

Kidarites in Kashmir/NW India - Gold Dinar, 'Kshinatha' (300-350 AD), Goebl 615, 8.00 grams. Obv: nimbate king wearing tunic, standing facing left with standard in one hand, making an offering at an altar with the other; trident with ribbons in the backdrop, Brahmi legend Kusha... below, Kidara below the hand holding the standard and Ksha(na)... in the right field Rev: nimbate goddess seated on throne holding cornucopia in one hand and a diadem with long strips in the other.
