Bharatpur – Silver rupee, Jaswant Singh (1853-1893 AD), Deeg mint, with the name and bust of Queen Victoria, VS 1910, KM 166, 11.12 grams. Bharatpur issued coins with a bust of Queen Victoria, immediately after the Queen’s Proclamation of 1859, demonstrating allegiance to the British. Bharatpur (with mint names Bharatpur and Brajendrapur) and Deeg mints struck these coins. Those of Deeg mint are far rarer than Bharatpur. Extra fine, Scarce.
