Archaic Punch-Marked Coinage from the Magadha Janapada, Nanda Dynasty (c. 343-321 BCE) – Silver Karshapana, weighing 3.10g. The obverse features five distinct punches: 1. A six-armed symbol, 2. The sun, 3. A rabbit on a five-arched hill, 4. A bull facing right, and 5. An elephant facing right. The reverse is marked with a highly unique and rare countermark consisting of three figures.
