Description
A set of pre-1947 Princely State cap badges:
(a) Baroda Cavalry badge in white metal. Letter ‘C’ within a horseshoe with
‘Baroda’ Scroll. Two lugs to the reverse. The regiment traces its descent to the erstwhile Baroda
Contingent. It was redesignated as First Cavalry in 1915-16. The regiment was disbanded in 1949. 6.2grams , 22.48mm,
(b) Gwalior Garrison Artillery: Officers cap badge in bronze. Nine flame grenade sitting on a scroll with
‘Gwalior’ within. Two lugs to reverse, 9.7 grams, 22.23mm
